Esa voluptuosidad dramática donde los personajes se enfrentan al dilema de la supervivencia, allí donde las consideraciones morales o éticas dejan de ser un lujo o un gesto diplomático -su versión pornográfica es el terror de Saw -. Bien podrían considerarse reflexiones de posguerra. Otra faceta de su obra es exhibir la violencia del paternalismo, revelar la máscara tras el gesto humanitario, violencia cuyo movil ya no es el imperativo de supervivencia pero la dominación. En ese sentido hace parte de la tradición crítica del teatro europeo desde Molière a Brecht. En precedentes, quizás sea comparable con el escepticismo y narrativa de este último. El escepticismo de Von Trier es incluso mayor, algo comprensible a la luz de los acontecimientos históricos que separan a los dos autores. En terminos más heterodoxos yo me pregunto, ¿que nos puede ofrecer Lars Von Trier como escenificación de la condición humana que no haya sido expuesto en los Reality Show? El modelo de embudo dramático que exhiben estos programas evocan el ciclo narrativo del autor y no tienen nada que envidiarle en patetismo. La decepción también es un elemento común, los participantes/personajes son presentados como criaturas inofensivas cuando no criaturas dignas de emular. Esto hasta que "pelan el cobre". Los personajes creen haber perdido, pero acaso perder no era su destino? Al fin y al cabo el juego está concebido para que exista un solo ganador. En Von Trier nadie es el ganador. En un Reality, esto delataría la artificialidad del juego, en el autor son un sello de realismo. Von Trier transfiere toda la responsabilidad del desenlace a la historia misma de la humandidad. Si hemos de aprender algo de este autor, es a desconfiar de la realidad que se sirve en bandeja de plata -qizás esto explique la deliberada repulsión de sus desenlaces-, es allí donde el autor es víctima de su propio invento pues la calidad artística de su obra riñe con su propuesta crítica.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;PDT: La imagen es de Dogville. How can we combined the old words in new orders so that they survive, so that they create beauty, so that they tell the truth. Moreover she was able to identify some of the preconditions for these two processes of change in language: "(old English words) they are stored with other meanings, with other memories [...] You cannot use a brand new word in an old language because of the very obvious yet always mysterious fact that a word is not a single and separate entity, but part of other words."  I compare this insight with the notion of &lt;i&gt;epigenetic&lt;/i&gt; –as opposed to &lt;i&gt;genetic–&lt;/i&gt; differentiation between biological entities. La respuesta moral parece ser inversamente proporcional a la complejidad del mensaje. De pronto, sin que mediara ninguna desilusión, se dejo crecer la barba y se vistió de profeta, y se fue a vivir en Envigado, un lugar idílico de la cordillera colombiana donde se dan silvestres las muchachas bellas.&lt;br /&gt;Como sus contemporáneos, los monjes del siglo XVI, tratando de esconderse del mundo, se encontró con la vida.&lt;br /&gt;Lo único que se reservó de ella, sin embargo, fue su propia intimidad. Se levanta a las seis de la tarde. No ha vuelto a leer un periódico, y en sus horas de trabajo no hace mas que leer y escuchar música. Pero en sus horas de ocio, pinta. Como lector, considera que todo libro necesita por lo menos un siglo de existencia para merecer la gloria de ser leído. En pintura tiene un criterio mas drástico: nunca ha pintado un cuadro que no se ciña a las normas establecidas por el Concilio de Trento.&lt;br /&gt;De modo que su obra esplendida y escasa mas bien un acto de purificación de un hombre de otro tiempo, empeñado en la tarea solitaria de inventar otra realidad para existir en ella. To which extent reproduction shows itself to the individual as a creative act? to answer this we have to address the criticality of the act of reproduction as perpetuated by the individual; is from this perspective where reproduction differentiates from the connotative adjective of creative acts. This criticality depends on quantitative and qualitative factors.
